Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: July 29, 2026
Consumer health data collected
If you voluntarily include it in food instructions, menu requests, a contact form, or an assistant chat, we may receive allergy information, dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, or other information that could reveal a health status. We do not seek to infer health status from browsing activity or purchase history.
Sources
The data comes directly from you or from an event organizer or purchaser whom you authorize to provide information on your behalf.
Purposes for collection and use
We use this data only as necessary to provide the food, order, menu guidance, catering, support, or accessibility accommodation you request; communicate with you about that request; and protect the safety and integrity of the service. We do not sell consumer health data and do not use geofences to identify people seeking or receiving health services.
Consumer health data shared
When necessary to provide the service you request, content you enter may be shared with staff or contractors fulfilling the request and these processors: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (hosting and operations), Google/Gmail or Resend (confirmation and notification email), and Anthropic (only when you enter the information in an AI-assistant chat). The categories shared are limited to the allergy, dietary, accessibility, or other health-related information you entered and the order or event context needed to understand the request.
Your rights and how to submit a request
You may ask whether we hold your consumer health data; access it and a list of parties with whom it was shared; withdraw consent for future collection or sharing; or request deletion. You do not need to create a new account. Email us from the address you used with us, put “Consumer Health Data Request” in the subject, and include an order or request number if available. We may request information reasonably necessary to authenticate you and will respond within 45 days; when reasonably necessary, we may extend once by 45 days and will explain why. Deletion from archived backups may take up to six months.
Appeals
If we decline or do not act on a request, you may appeal by emailing the same address with “Consumer Health Data Appeal” in the subject. We will respond in writing within 45 days. If the appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington Attorney General.
